This rare and collectible chess set was made by R. F Murphy, the Franklin Mint in 1999 for American Heritage Foundation Museum which features one of our favorite preservation museums -The Heritge Center! This board measures 18″ x18″, pieces 3-5/8″. It’s very hard to find all its parts together like this complete with nice condition–we assure you will love it as much we do

The ancient game of chaturanga, which was once prevalent in India and eventually spread throughout Asia during medieval times has been brought to life through the artistry on display here. The iconic chessboard contains symbols from many different cultures including Native Americans like Terry’s Sioux heritage or other peoples such as Siberians who lived across central Russia before European colonization occurred; they all share this commonality -they’re gorgeous!
